| Excursion Old & New landscapes “City = Countryside” When: Saturday 20th September 2008Where: Departure from Lawickse Alee (LA) 13 at 9:30 in the morning, return around 17:00. By mini bus. Our new theme “City = Countryside” starts with an excursion to 2 exhibitions from the InternationalTriennial in Apeldoorn. (www.triennale.nl) The first exhibition to visit is called “A Wider View on Cultural Landscape Challenges in Europe”, locationRadio Kootwijk . The central theme of “A Wider View” is how to ensure continued vitality in the centuries-oldcultural landscapes of Europe. We then continue to the exhibition “Nature as Artifice”, at the Kroller – Muller Museum in the Hoge VeluweNational Park. it presents contemporary photographs and video art on the new Dutch landscape. If time permits, we will cycle or walk trough the park. |
